This is our good to Pho shop, we really good broth and excellent spring rolls, we love the bun and excellent selection whether its hot or cold dishes the menu has a little bit of everything and amazing Vietnamese Coffee. We been coming for over 3 decades and the faces are the same. Just comfort food for the sole and good quality dishes.
The food was great. The service is not that good, they gave my fried chicken to another family and then when I asked about it, they tried to return it back to us. I told them that we’d like a new one. The older man in the front is efficient, but everyone else seems a bit lost and untrained. Overall, this place is tasty. But they also had a few flies around the place. This is one of those places where the food is great, but everything else is not. I’m conflicted.
In NY for work and dinner at Pho Bang was the best dining experience we’ve ever had. We were on our way to a different restaurant when my friend spotted Pho Bang and said “oh I used to eat there all the time, they have some sort of meat crispy lettuce wrap thing, let’s go there instead.” We were immediately greeted warmly in the understated but cozy restaurant, and when we asked about the crispy wrap things (banh tap), the server Margaret said “yes, my father invented them!” And omg they changed
