I have often walked past the Pick A Bagel on E 77th and Lexington but it’s often so busy that I missed out on their delicious muffins, coffee and bagels ! They also have impressive looking paninis! However, recently I’ve been enjoying their baked goids as well as their coffee! And it’s definitely worth waiting on line, since everything I’ve eaten there is indeed delicious. They also give a significant discount if you pay cash!
The bagels looked good but really weren’t it. I got a BEC on an everything bagel and it was more of plain bagel with how little seasoning was on it. Small amount of egg too. The service is very quick but I’d rather wait 2-3 minutes longer on a Saturday and get a more quality bagel vs being shoved out the door. Good if you’re in a hurry but if you have time just take the 6 train outside rheir door up 2 stops to the Bagel Shop further up in the UES.
5 STARS! For speedy service! Amazing taste and its in Manhattan! It was around 2 o’clock lunch hour for some. Store was rather packed but they managed to have me in and out in a jiff. I purchased an everything bagel, add turkey and went with the suggestion to add tomato and lettuce absolutely Yummy!
