Old style NYC luncheonette with a surprising mix of Korean food, served along side deli sandwiches and burgers. Interested in seeing such an odd combination in the middle of Sunset Parks’s industrial zone, we had to order their best seller: Beef Bulgogi. We split a platter of bulgogi with fries (they sold out of rice-must be good) and it was delicious and made rather quickly. Good portion size for $11 plater. This is THE place. I think about it when I think of a perfect local NYC sandwich. I wake up late some nights, hungry, dreaming of being here. Get you a sandwich or some chicken or just a coffee these folks will hook you UP. Great prices, great portions, Katz's could never! Respect the dream, tip good!
OLD SOGGY CAESAR SALAD Let's just say fresh food is not their specialty. I ordered a Caesar salad without meat and replaced it with avocado. The price for the salad with chicken is $11 as they advertise. They charged me the same price as a meat option. The salad came with tomatoes (on a CAESAR SALAD), this made the crutoions soak with liquid faster creating a sogginess in the salad. The dressing was very very thin and watery.
