My dining experience at Sheng Hui in Chinatown was very enjoyable. I ordered a variety of Cantonese dishes including shrimp dumplings, crispy roasted quail, steamed chicken, several stir-fried dishes, and osmanthus cake. You can really feel that this is a long-time neighborhood favorite instead of a trendy social media spot. We stopped here for lunch on Monday. Weather was nice and place was easy to find. We went inside and promptly seated. We were given lunch menu and we also chose some dim sum. Dim sum choices were good. For lunch we had beef and vegetables, fish with celery and chicken lo mein. They gave us tea but you get charged for it. Service was ok. May comeback for their other menu
