I have been a customer at Portofino for years and I can say that they serve very good coffee. Very nice place and the owner is welcoming and sociable. The environment is clean and well maintained, however it does not excuse some of the staff who are often rude, do not know how to say thank you, good morning, good evening or goodbye and have a very bad attitude.
Hang on to your calculator and receipt, because Osmaily, the wait staff, will try to pull a fast one on you. It seems the scam for the unwitting is to take your card, tip herself 30% on a $7.62 bill, and not give you the receipt, figuring you won't do the math when you see the amount on your bank statement.
