This corner cafe caught our eye with its modern lines and bright colors and extensive breakfast menu. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and flavor of the coffee. The owner was very solicitous and clearly wanted us to have a great time. We split the avocado toast as a breakfast appetizer and it was rich and creamy and came with a bright salad. The oat latte I ordered was excellently brewed. For my main course I had the tofu scramble and my partner had the grilled chicke
Really cozy, tasty café that warrants the near-perfect rating. The fried chicken sandwich is not only tasty, but filling (has two layers of cutlets on there) and quite healthy too. Very friendly and attentive service too. I’ve been burned on a lot of overpriced, pretentious Brooklyn cafés and brunch spots lately, but it’s nice to have a neighborhood option that puts all the care into good food and a chill vibe, all for a more affordable price. Will be back soon!
I’ve been hearing about this place for a while and finally decided to stop in. The space is small and cozy, which makes it feel really welcoming. I ordered the avocado toast and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was a little lukewarm at first, but when I mentioned it, she kindly remade it right away. Both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and well made. The young woman behind the counter was very kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.
