I loved the vibe at this place. I went for the 1st time to celebrate 5 de Mayo. People were friendly, service was good, and the food was fairly good. There was a food special of tacos and drinks for the day. Its a mix crowd of people. They had a DJ and music was also mixed. Everyone was friendly from the bartender, to the servers to the people sitting next to us. I would definitely return soon.
I live in Brooklyn and have been to a few hookah spots in Manhattan but Red Oak exceeds all my high expectations! The fact that I decided to try it on a raining Wednesday night and give up my parking space in Flatbush and would do it again is a sign that the vibes are vibin’. We were greeted by the bartender and got there a little after 6pm. Our waitress was super attentive and even explained they had happy hour from 5-8PM! Management/owner is very friendly and accommodating and attentive. Staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is perfect for hookah and music. Very safe place with a good crowd. I am a returning and referring customer.
