Came here on a weekday and decided to eat in. The space is great; unfussy, clean and plenty of room. It seems like a pretty lean operation with only one person working there at the time. I ordered the Uncle John, and got a bag of chips and a coke. The sandwich is pricey but it is HUGE. It’s honestly 2 servings and they absolutely pack it with meat. Picked up a gorgeous Uncle Chubby sandwich today and it was PERFECT Yes $19 is a lot for a sandwich but I split it in half, and eat half for lunch and half for dinner. Considering that deli sandwiches are averaging around $13 right now, spending an extra $6 for some high quality ingredients is super reasonable. I rode miles on my bike out of my way for this sandwich today and I’m very glad I did.
This place may seem like a random hole in the wall type of a place but I can assure you that you will have a very tasty sandwich when you go inside here. I was very pleased with my order. My sandwich was ready in just a few minutes, the ingredients were very fresh And the sandwich itself was very well put together and kept me satiated for the entire day.
