At this point I’m just repeating what everyone reading the other comments should already know - the owners of this place are very present and take an active role in ensuring customer satisfaction. I walked in Tuesday night to place a bakery order I needed for work Thursday morning. My friends and I came here for dinner and it was a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks great. I’m definitely coming back just for the spaghetti bolognese! We also had the banana bread pudding for dessert and I was practically licking my plate. Shout out to our server Jean-Claude for the amazing service!
Love the setting and the food! It was a cool oasis given the heat wave in New York. Service was quick and attentive. Calamari was great - very crispy, could have been made better with more flavors and tomato sauce. I enjoyed the kale, avocado, cranberries, and shrimp salad I had though I wish there was a bit less dressing. There was a lot and I couldn’t finish.
