My gf recommended this place and frankly she was right in her assessment. She had previously brought me chicken soup which was amazing and this sweet potato soufflé dessert. Determined to duplicate this dessert propelled me to stop by. I found the service super friendly and accommodating. Granted it was a weekday afternoon, so not swamped at that time. Literally the BEST place to be between 10-3. And any other time of the day too. I've been coming here for about 2 years religiously, only going on a hiatus when I had low funds. But they will never let you down at Roberto's. No matter what you order it is all delicious and nutritious food. I got the Maryland Style fish with tartar sauce and waffle fries from the lunch special menu that's from 10-3 Mon-Friday. The fish is melt in your mouth tender and seasoned perfectly. Truly a great place I was surprised to be honest because I moved to Staten Island a little over a year ago from New Jersey’s melting pot of amazing food in Hudson country and I have not found many places near by that I feel Are great tasting and not over priced!
