Been going here for years. Always was stellar. Nice stuff and good vibes. Past year plus though, I’ve noticed the sauce on my usual grandma pies disappear. I understand those are “rustic pies” and don’t need to be slathered with sauce, but damn, is the sauce social distancing from the pizza..? Just rename it grandmas focaccia if that’s the case.
This place is popular! All the pizzas looked yummy. I had the bacon chicken pizza. Seating can be tough but most people go there and pick up. Very New York.
Rocco’s is classic Brooklyn, New York pizza done right. Always delicious, fresh, and consistently good every single time. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot you keep coming back to for years because you already know the pizza is going to hit every time. Perfect for a quick grab-and-go slice when you want that real old-school NYC pizza experience. I also really like the recent renovations. The space looks refreshed and updated, even though there are no longer tables to sit and eat inside. Still
