this was my first time having rocco’s pizza and it’s amazing. the staff are always super attentive and nice, fast and efficient. and the slices are absolutely superb! this should be your pizza institution, and great to impress family with a top tier nyc pie. the salads are also really good and fresh, not some crap just put together and i love it !
I ordered a ready made salad and pizza to go. My salad had sticky black olives on it that had gone bad. The Italian dressing was straight oil with zero seasoning like it had been poured without shaking. The pizza was soggy, crust burned and tasted bland. Staff wasnt friendly.
We chose this place because it was very close to our Airbnb. We walked over and ordered 4 slices and garlic knots. The garlic knots aren't worth it - but the pizza was good. They warmed it up for us and we walked back home to eat it. We got two slices of buffalo, a veggie and a chicken bacon ranch. All were good - nice flavor and a crunchy crust.
