We wanted to grab breakfast on the 1st day of the new year before heading out for the day and quick Google search I stumbled upon this Brooklyn gem. The food and service did not disappoint. Upon entry there is a unique artsy vibe that any New Yorker or lover of art would appreciate. Discovered that the art was done by the owner. These photos are from the summer, but I'm here right now in the cold and it's very cozy. Love their vegan breakfast burrito...have gone out of my way to come to this neighborhood to get it. Prices are reasonable, service is kind, and I love the space. Seats often fill up. Love their ethics too—there's currently a food donation box, and they hosted free Thanksgiving dinner last Thanksgiving.
I dropped by here for a quick bite and the food was definitely fresh and tasty, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, though it felt a little bit crowded for my liking during the time I was there. It is a solid spot if you are looking for something simple and healthy, but I probably wouldn't make it a regular habit because it can be a bit pricey for the portion sizes.
