Ordered Sac’s Pizza for delivery and it did not disappoint. The coal-brick oven pizza arrived fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked. You can tell everything is made to order with quality ingredients. Excellent flavor and consistency every time. One of the best pizza options in Astoria for delivery.
Had a bunch of people over and we did a taste comparison of Sac’s, Napoli, and Rizzo’s. Sac’s unfortunately ranked lowest of the three—the Margherita pie was incredibly bland and the most expensive (fwiw Napoli’s grandma pizza was the winner for every person who ate pizza). I would give it two stars. However, two things: 1. The one lactose intolerant person in the group got spaghetti in clam sauce and it was amazing (albeit expensive); and 2. Sac’s is a beautiful space with a lot of neighborhood
Delicious Italian restaurant in the heart of Astoria! We knew this is a legendary place so had to give it a try. Overall experience was good. Service and atmosphere were great. We went on a Friday night with a reservation and there were plenty of tables available. Service was attentive and prompt. Food was pretty good but did leave something to be desired. We got: - Caesar salad (delicious) - Sicilian pizza (the best of our meal) - Gnocchi pasta (good but kinda bland) - Linguine pasta w/ clams
