Little hideaway for Southern Italian specialties & diverse wines served amid a warm, intimate vibe.
From Google Maps reviews.
I recently visited Saggio, a Sicilian restaurant, and found the experience mixed. The interior was inviting, with a warm and cozy atmosphere that made for a pleasant dining environment. As for the food, the fried calamari was decent—crispy and tender, but it lacked the standout flavor I was hoping for. The chicken was okay as well; it was well-cooked but didn't have the depth of seasoning I expected. Overall, while Saggio has a nice ambiance, the food could use some improvement to truly shine
Atmosphere is beautiful and the food was delicious. I have texture issues with mushrooms and seafood, so I'm always thrilled when I find a risotto without them. Everything we ate here was lovely, one of our favorite restaurants in Washington Heights.
Everything was EXCELLENT food : very good Ambiance: good Waiting food time : fast Skirt steak was great Service : Excellent I RECOMMEND IT
