I really liked this place! Went with a friend and started with the Ahi tuna—a great flavor combination with a crispy tortilla, fresh tuna, and their delicious sauce. For mains, I had the crispy chicken sandwich with yuca fries, and my friend got the B. King tacos. Everything was delicious. We also tried the Sunburn tequila drink; it was a little strong for me, but still good! Highly recommend this spot for delicious food, great ambiance, and spot-on service. 2nd time here. Food is decent. But not so friendly to black people. Glad to see the staff is more diverse now. Corey is super kind but the other bartenders not so much they threw out my left overs when I went to the bathroom. Corey was the only one concerned with fixing it. Would come back for him only! He is great!
Really wonderful addition to this neighborhood incredible ambience probably the nicest setting of any restaurant in Rockaway for this kind of vibe. The food was really great and had an interesting diverse menu which I felt met a wide variety of tastes. I think I gotta go back and try the Chito flavored chicken, which isn’t something I would normally do but the fish tacos were excellent. Definitely look forward to going back and it is just a great little escape in this area.
