We genuinely thought we’d already seen the best drag performances… until we went to Sandy’s Jack’s! Absolutely incredible from start to finish. The energy, the talent, and the connection with the crowd were on another level. The improvised lip-syncing based on audience requests was seriously impressive — quick, hilarious, and flawlessly executed. Cozy neighborhood bar with a ton of community action. Came here for the first time for the Drag Race viewing party with a few friends. Unfortunately, it was virtually impossible to watch or enjoy the show because the bar hosts were talking and yelling on the microphone throughout the entire episode, not just during commercial breaks. The volume on the mic was so loud that some left. We want to support our local queer spaces and local drag, but sadly this wasn’t a good experience.
I have hosted events at Sandy Jack's several times and I am always impressed with the fabulous backyard space and the wonderful staff. They are very friendly and great to work with!
