Sant Ambroeus Gelateria in Soho has been one of my favorite places in NYC for over 7 years now, and it continues to be exceptional every single time. I just visited again this Christmas Eve with my parents, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Everything we ordered was insanely delicious — from the perfectly made coffee to the Aperol spritz, and especially the amazing princess cake, which never disappoints. Their female manager is a complete joke and unfortunately seems to be in the wrong industry. She knows absolutely nothing about service, kindness, or hospitality. When we kindly mentioned that the coffee was bitter and honestly tasted burnt, she suggested adding simple syrup to it. Girl…? I would pay $11 not to drink that. She’s also incredibly aggro. A false smile doesn’t cut it :/ Unfortunately, this place is not what it used to be all those years ago, and we definitely won’t be returning. Ch
I love the vegan chocolate gelato. It is rich and dense. Loved it so much. Came back here for several times to have it. The shop and the vibe is nice. Staffs are good, they let me try several flavors before I made a decision.
