Food is tasty, clean place; friendly staff, quick and efficient. I always get my food here when I visit the Staten Island mall. There's always a line but it move quickly. The teriyaki chicken is so tender and juicy. Food are fresh and the place is clean. I see it as a balance meal after the workout. I think they seasoned it perfectly, not too salty, and they won't add extra sauce on it unless you ask. I guess everyone has their preference, I like to ask for extra sauce to make the noodles or ric
I ordered terayaki chicken and shrimp. The shrimp was so salty, it was probably seasoned or salt was added beforehand. Salty shrimp with the sauce made it so hard to eat. The whole meal was sodium overload. There was also no bags to go as you need to walk with the hot box of food to a table yourself. Would not recommend.
I've been eating at the mall for a number of years. Since before the food court renovation. Sarku has been a staple for a long time. Food always hits the spot. Love it here.
