I visited Sea Salt NYC during Eid and tried their prix fixe menu along with the lamb chops. Overall, the food was tasty and well-prepared, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. However, I was disappointed because I visited specifically after seeing their online menu and was excited to try the mixed grill and lamb shank. When we arrived, one server told us that those dishes had not been available since 2019. This was confusing because we had seen recent reviews from customers mentioning those item
If you’re looking for authentic Mediterranean food in NYC, Sea Salt is a must-visit. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared you can tell the recipes come straight from the heart (and probably someone’s Greek grandmother!). The grilled octopus was tender and flavorful, the whole branzino perfectly cooked, and the spanakopita had that perfect golden crisp. This is an absolute must-try. The space is beautiful. The service is lovely and they specialize in hospitality. The lemon potato’s, baba ghanoush, the bread, the chicken, everything was phenomenal. I will be taking all my family and friends. Thank you Sea Salt!
