To aid in the chilly weather of false spring I decided to look up some highly rated ramen spots in the area of Queens. I managed to land on this one! I can say, I was not disappointed. My ramen came out quickly and was piping hot. The broth was flavorful and seasoned well. The noodles were also filling along with the pork. The matcha wasn’t as sweet as I was expecting but that’s ok! I appreciate the authenticity. The only critique would be towards another customer who was speaking obnoxiously lo
Finally found a hidden gem nearby! 🍜 After the snow today, I was craving a warm bowl of ramen and Seichou delivered. I ordered the Steak Ramen and it was delicious. We started with the fried squid legs, which were super crispy and flavorful. To drink, the Iced Matcha Latte was a pleasant surprise—not too milky, just the way a real matcha should be. They have a massive menu, so I’ll definitely be back to try more!
Classic Tonkotsu done right 🍜 The broth at Seichou Ramen was rich, creamy, and full of deep pork flavor without feeling too heavy. The chashu was tender and flavorful, the egg perfectly jammy, and the noodles had a great texture that soaked up every bit of the soup. Simple toppings, balanced bowl, and comforting from the first bite to the last. Paired it with a Lucky Cat beer and it made the whole meal even better. Definitely a spot worth coming back to when craving authentic tonkotsu ramen in
