I visited this place and ordered food to go. Although I had to wait about 20 minutes, it was clear that everything was prepared fresh to order, and the wait was worth it. The sandwich was very good. The meat was flavorful and juicy, and the bread was soft and fresh. You could tell the food had been made right then and there, not sitting around waiting to be served. We ordered from Shah's halal food very 1st time today. Order came in fast, well packed, fries were crispy and warm. Burgers looked good. We got so impressed by the clean looking sandwich but it didnt last long as both chicken patties were almost raw/uncooked. My son threw up.. while eating.. such a disappointment 😞 I so wanted to love it and become a loyal customer.. not sure if I would be buying again.
The food is very tasty and the workers are so welcoming and kind! :) I got the lamb and chicken combo platter. They explained the menu very clearly and it’s a straight forward ordering process. Surprisingly cheap for NYC halal platters. Shah’s is cheaper than some halal carts on Bell Blvd.
