Shakalaka bakery I love! I really like the Chinese desserts and sweets here and it’s probably one of my favorite bakeries in Flushing. They offer really fun and delicious flavors here with their pastries and cakes. The prices here are also really good. Their bread is also really good. I tried the Japanese crab meat bread, Coconut cream bread, and their egg sandwich which I loved! They tasted delicious and they were also very filling. The ambience is modern and clean. I found this amazing bakery right in the heart of Flushing. Their cakes are beautifully made and look absolutely stunning. I heard that many people specifically come here for the taro pork floss cake, so I decided to try it. The sweet and savory combination was really unique and surprisingly delicious. Went to Shakalaka Bakery in Flushing today. They have a bunch of really pretty cakes — like the kind you end up staring at for way too long because you can’t decide. We grabbed a few to try, and they were actually pretty good. Not too sweet and really soft. The shop is super clean and everything’s nicely set up.
