Was excited to try Shaxian Delicacies, but honestly this was rough. The noodles were bland and sitting in a greasy, flavorless broth. The beef soups tasted like they came straight from a freezer bag, boiled in water with barely any seasoning. Everything looked sad, and tasted even sadder. We went to Fuzhou restaurant next door to eat afterwards. One star for the effort, I guess
Prices are amazing and the food is great. If you're looking for a peanut noodle and wonton soup, the big shrimp wontons here do not disappoint. I came late one night due to other obligations and the owner was very kind and let me stay as long as I wanted to eat my meal.
The best authentic Shaxian snack restaurant I have ever eaten in New York! Very satisfied! 5 out of 5!!!
