We had a nice dinner here. The Georgian lamb soup was very flavorful and unique, and the chicken cutlet was delicious — it almost tasted like a chicken patty and was really well cooked. The smashed potatoes on the side were a bit too loose and under-seasoned for our taste. We also tried a Russian beer, which was good. Service was polite, though not as warm as what you might expect in many American restaurants. Overall, good food and an interesting experience.
Decided to end my neighborhood circuit here for dinner. If you're looking for authentic comfort food, this is the spot. I had the potatoes with mushrooms and it was delicious. The interior is charming and traditional. It can get busy, but the staff handles it well. Great for a solo meal or a family dinner. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get! #NYC #BrooklynEats #Skovorodka #ComfortFood #NewYorkFoodie
This is not a cuisine I was especially familiar with so we simply asked the waiter what we should order and he brought out 3 amazing dishes. This baked cheese and mushroom dish was our appetizer and was fantastic. Then we had the assorted dumplings and perogis which were phenomenal. Would definitely recommend this restaurant especially if you want to try new foods
