Smile To Go is a pricey eatery located in Gramercy. This is the sister restaurant to the one in SoHo which I used to frequent when I worked at The French Culinary Institute several times a week notably for their excellent chocolate chip cookies. I came here to have a bite of lunch. The sandwich had an unusual cheese and greens. Filling but not tasty. I also took a blueberry muffin which was studded with many berries and tasted wholesome. There was ample seating and the cafe is connected to the Freehand NY hotel. I got the Market Plate, which allows us to pick 3 market sides available. Per the staff's rec, I chose the Kale Salad, the Couscous, and Sweet Potatoes with Beets. The food tasted fine/ok. The couscous was pretty good and had a fresh distrust taste - would recommend!
