A good lunch choice with good flavor. And, so close to Grand Central. I got the quarter chicken with Garlic Yuca. Their green sauce is so flavorful. It so happened that my ordering app had an error and ordered 3 of the lunches and they were good enough to cancel the other 2. Nice service!
The Dr I work for ordered food here I gave them another chance it was delicious the pernil, moro,Maduros and fried yuca was amazing. That green sauce is soooo good! I got 3 empanadas de carne really good!!! I did uber eats last week and it wasn't that great but today Def. Was delicious alot of food I even took home. The buy one get one took the free one home sooo goood!
Popular with the takeout lunch crowd, Sophie’s serves Cuban food cafeteria-style. An order consists of your choice of protein and three sides. The baked salmon ($17.99 plus tax) had a sauce but the fish itself was a bit overdone and dry. The better option is the pernil (roast pork). The fried plantains and yellow rice were good. Make sure to try their green hot sauce.
