Best CUBANO sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Cooked to perfection, the cheese silky melted, the pernil fresh, and Omgg that salsa verde. The staff is very friendly and the place is cozy. I’ve tried the empanadas before and they’re super delicious. Ten stars for the Cubano!
This order of Tostones (6 in a bag) and Cubano with a can of soda cost $21.20. About average priced lunch nowadays. Delicious! Well worth it
short: delicious and big enough portions can save half for a second meal; unfortunately, even when requesting the manager, nothing was done to address the rude female employee. long: I started eating at Sofie's at their 23rd St & Madison location that shut down years ago. I used to go regularly because they had a lunch special. The food is well seasoned and prepared. I can taste all the separate flavors.
