I had a great experience. There was some confusion regarding our reservation due to a third-party booking app, but it was resolved promptly. The staff was courteous, professional, and very helpful. Traveling with both seniors and children can be challenging, but the staff made our stay comfortable and stress-free for the entire family. My ratings are reflective of a hotel chosen for a school group based on 20 years of travel from UK to NY. The reception area is inviting and conveniently has snacks and drinks that can be bought along with free tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Rooms are excellent. Students were at first stumped by having no lock on bathroom door but doors do slide shut. Windows that open, double blinds, room for hanging long items, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and a safe. Hotel feels safe in the corridors
Fine hotel and a reasonable price (by NYC standards for this part of town). Quick check in, quiet night on the 5th floor despite windows facing the street. Two queen room was compact, as expected, but clean and in good shape - not beat up or run down at all. Sliding barn-style door separating sleeping area from the bathroom, which is only large enough for one person at a time. Room had a Keurig coffee machine (better than nothing, barely), an iron, and plenty of room and hangers for clothes. The
