My husband and I took our kids to Eggers tonight for ice cream and I decided to grab a Chicken Schwarma Sandwich after walking past this restaurant. Everything about my experience was fantastic. Service was fast and efficient and the sandwich was SOOO delicious - it actually made me nostalgic for my time in the Middle East. Never have I had a more pleasant meal. The owner, Mr. Mohammad was so polite and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thanks Sumac Restaurant for the wonderful care given to us. I’ve eaten here three times so far and always the same order: Lamb Shawarma which comes with a bed of yellow rice, a small mound of salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion), grilled sumac onions, and white tahini sauce. It’s delicious. I also get a side of the seasoned regular fries which are served nice and hot with a side of ketchup. The fries are very good.
