A friend of mine hosted his birthday party at The Stoop yesterday, and I can't say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, the owner went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. The drinks were delicious, the service was incredible, and the overall atmosphere was exactly what you'd want for a fun night out with friends. Good events. Bad attitude. Clearly the people who own or work at this place are not native New Yorkers but opened up a bar in one of the most New York neighborhoods - Sunset Park. They can’t seem to handle the New Yorkers that come here because my friend and I got so much attitude from all the bartenders and I saw them treat other New Yorkers badly as well.
