Compact Thai eatery prepares classic & specialty dishes in unpretentious, Siamese-style digs.
From Google Maps reviews.
Stumbled upon this spot while I was in the neighborhood, and I’m glad I did. Definitely not a bad decision! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the overall experience was great. I’ll definitely be back.
I try not to be too emotional when making these reviews but honestly, The Sweet Basil experience( yes it is that and more) was just outstanding. From this sparsely decorated Thai spot,, there was a parade of dishes coming from the kitchen that I can still taste in my dreams. We ordered quite a variety of dishes and the night was just instantly and continuously just fascinating. Everything was super tasty.. we were lucky and able to put two tables next to each other and the plates kept coming out
It's hard to find an eatery these days that has top notch service and food AND a quiet atmosphere. I love this neighborhood institution, glad it's back. Pictured here, my favorite Duck Salad.
