Laid-back eatery offers standard Thai cuisine, including seafood specialties, in a casual space.
From Google Maps reviews.
This local spot just steps from the subway serves fairly straightforward Thai food. The staff is very friendly, the space is clean, has plenty of tables and clearly has a good takeout business. The Panang curry with chicken leaned a bit watery and was spicier than I prefer. Prices are very affordable, almost pre-Covid. They offer a lunch special, though it’s not available on weekends or holidays.
Sweet Basil is my go-to spot every week, and I always stick with the drunken noodles—they’re honestly the best I’ve had compared to other Thai places. The flavors are consistently on point, and it never disappoints. The service is also great—attentive and friendly every time. Zero complaints
Best in the neighborhood! Pad Thai is always amazing, same with drunken noodle and the curries. Lot of variety on the menu. Great for takeout as well as dining in. The atmosphere is relaxed and upscale, the staff friendly and approachable, and the prices are neighborly and reasonable. I always forget to take a picture of the food because I can’t wait to dig in!
