Ambiance (5/5): (I think some of the vibe pictures are outdated as there is no longer a bar seating that overlooks the kitchen) It is a cozy atmosphere with the wooden wall panels and brick. The space was fairly open. Service (5/5): It was not very busy during the lunch hours so we were serviced quickly and often. Food: There was a couple of seasonal specials posted on the wall. I used to work in the area, and this was one of my favorite spots. I came back today just for the ramen, because I’ve tried to find another one as good as this and haven’t been successful. I usually get the edamame and any of the ramen options, and they’re always amazing. It’s a hidden gem on the UES — you should definitely check it out!
Love Tabata! I use to go to their previous locations for years. My fav is their Sutamina Ramen! You just cant get this ramen anywhere else. This is the best place to get authentic Japanese Ramen. Also their hospitality has always been top tier. This new location is beautiful and the food is great as always. I can't wait to pass by again.
