Great fusion, very small portions. Food: 3/5- great flavor very small portions. Value was also low considering it was pricey. Service & staff: 5/5 🤝🏽 hard-working staff in the kitchen Who you can observe since it’s an open kitchen concept. Everybody’s moving and everybody’s being efficient. Cashier was brief and friendly. Atmosphere: 3/5 - places clean but very small and there’s limited seating available. Take out is served in a plastic container, which is not optimal. Guacamole was served
Takumi Taco—Japan Meets Mexico and Nobody Lost Tucked into Chelsea Market like a delicious secret, Takumi Taco looks every bit the part of a taco bar — bold signage, counter service energy, and the kind of smell that makes you stop mid-stride and recalibrate your plans. Such a cool freaking combination!! No joke, my actual heritage is Japanese and Latina, but Mexican mixed in with Spanish, native: Apache, and Blackfoot blood. I have so many issues trying to eat my cultural food since I’m allergic to MSG/monosodium glutamate! I was surprised to find out I could eat the food here!!
