Nice, cozy spot near hectic Elmhurst Hospital. Very clean with pleasant service. I tried the Chicken Tikka and Beef Thenthuk. The Chicken was a bit dry, and sitting in a bed of ghee. Taste wasn’t bad, but I wish it was juicier. The Beef Thenthuk had an enjoyable, gingery broth, but it lacked salt. That’s an easy fix….better less salt that too much. Overall, the food was ok, but I like this place. I’ll be back to try some more dishes because the photos of other reviews look so good!
I have ordered from Tandoori Tibet multiple times before and have always been a big fan of their spicy momos, which is why this experience was very disappointing. This time, the momos were not spicy at all. It tasted like they forgot to add chili sauce completely and only used soy sauce and garlic.
