WARNING: Confirm the total before paying (and check your receipt)... I ordered Pearl Noodles for $16.99 with tax being $1.55, but was charged $19.19. The receipt showed exactly these three lines and nothing else, so an undisclosed and unrecorded fee magically appeared out of thin air. If there's a credit card fee then I'd totally understand, but it was never mentioned before I paid (when they asked "cash or card?") and didn't show up on the receipt. Flushing has plenty of chinese food for sure, but I came to Flushing specifically to find uyghur food as you can't really find this type of cuisine in the US. And the food simply blew me away. I dont know how they make the lamb polo but that is probably one of the best rice dishes ive ever had. The lamb was so tender and rice was so flavourful. And the 烤包 (kao bao) was amazing too as it was filled w juicy sweet onions and beef. Absolutely great meal and Im glad I came here.
It's right next to the bathrooms which is odd placement but don't be fooled by the funky location! You must try the Lamb skewers, it came on these metal swords / beautiful design, the meat didnt taste gamey at all, tender and juicy, I was pleasantly surprised. Flavors was very delicious ! The main cashier guy with the bushy mustache was multi lingual, he spoke mandarin and liked to flex his language skills to Chinese customers it was funny to watch 🤣
