Had an excellent gyro tonight at Taste of Gyro in Astoria. The meat was perfectly seasoned and sliced, the pita was warm and soft, and everything was fresh. Simple, honest food done right. Portions were generous and the flavors really hit the spot. This is exactly what a gyro should be. Even though they were busy at the place with take out orders they were working hard to please everyone. Great customer service! I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it if you’re in the area.
Amazing hospitality. Please support this family owned business. I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the owner while I was there. This place is the true essence of Greek hospitality and Filotimo. I was welcomed with warmth, kindness and left feeling like family. Truly wonderful experience. Gyro was 10/10!
A hidden gem that n Astoria. This is a small tavern where you can enjoy good Greek food, prepare with Meraki and love. Whatever you order will be good. Go simple. Good place to catch up with a friend on a Sunday afternoon.
