The food here is constantly good quality and flavorful! Pricing is moderate. Service is friendly. Of special note: Tomato sauce is made fresh, inhouse!!🍅 I've tried the Grandma slice, veal parmesan hero, chicken parmesan hero and the sausage parmesan hero!! All were excellent!!!! Sausage and Grandma slice for lunch today!!🍕
Taste of Italy Pizza ★★★★★ If you’re searching for the best pizza in New York City, the best pizza in Queens, or specifically the best pizza in Astoria, you need to try Taste of Italy Pizza on Crescent Avenue. My son started attending Q300, and we discovered this place by accident. It looks like a classic neighborhood pizzeria from the outside — no flashy branding, no gimmicks — but that’s exactly what makes it special. As someone who grew up in Queens and has lived in NYC for over 40 years,
Really good slice. Crust was crispy and doughy. Nice texture. Friendly staff. Neighborhood pizza spot vibes. 2 slices and a bottle of water for $11 i thought was kind of a lot, but the pizza was good so i didn’t really care.
