Long-running Greek taverna known for fresh grilled fish served in spacious quarters with a garden.

Telly’s taverna, let me tell what I honestly think about my dining experience : I think that their prices are extremely high for the quality and the quantity they offer their customers. No side orders with their main dish , $30 for 4 pieces of fried whiting and an extra $6 for the side order. The bread was stale and the fish was over cooked , the shrimp was swimming in an insipid tomato sauce , the 3 pale lemon potatoes tasted anything but lemon, and the fried calamari came without the old good
As many reviewers mentioned, the octopus here is really good. Overall, it’s a solid Greek restaurant. Back when I lived in the neighborhood, this place felt like my kitchen. I came here regularly. The good thing is, nothing has really changed since then.
I'm sorry to say that Telly's has lost its attraction. The food has dropped in quality.. Started with salad and haloumni cheese . Salad had more onions than I have ever seen and the feta cheese sour...the haloumni very poor quality. Had grilled octopus. Was only boiled not even charred or a little sign of grilling. My wife ordered bronzino. Was asked if they would de bone it. Half of it was gone. And the rest we took it home. Very disappointed I loved this place but ill never go back again. T
