Just had eggplant parm and a huge calzone delivered. The best eggplant with ricotta that I ever had, and the calzone is huge and so delecious. Asterita’s is a must try!! Warm atmosphere and the owner Tina, is very friendly and attentive!🍕
The best pizza in Brooklyn. Hands down. It’s literally the perfect NY slice. I grew up in Brooklyn but living in the park slope area for four years. Tried it all. Even the meatballs are delicious. Also the large plain pie is reasonably priced for the area. Great attitude in the restaurant too. Really nice people work there. Super family friendly. Definitely call for reservation tho. Great spot for a lowkey, intimate birthday dinner with family or a casual bite with friends! The seasonal salad is a must. The arugula pizza was a group favorite as well. Thank you to Tina and team for helping host our group of 18– so welcoming, attentive and yum. Throwback playlist was a plus.
