We visited The Brooklyn Strategist on our first night in New York while exploring with my son, who loves card games, D&D, and all things tabletop. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip. Jack, Will, and Francesca were outstanding. They took the time to walk my son through different games, dice, and the worlds of Dungeons & Dragons and Warhammer with genuine enthusiasm and care. I went to the Brooklyn Strategist on my birthday and purchased a small $19.00 game called High Tide. I purchased it because there was a display with a little story about the game makers. A week later I was at home (60 miles away) and I remembered the game. I took it out and discovered that they sold me the display copy and that it was missing the 19 small tiles that are used to play the game. Today I had business on Brooklyn again and I returned to the store to get a replacement game. The staff
Great place. One of the best places to meet amazing people, spend quality time. So many great games, and the guy who was working there is just brilliant. He explained so many fun games, played even with us. Food and snack were great too!
