Food, service, and atmosphere are all genuinely 5 stars. The plates and cups are also from the Art Shack! Feel so comfortable working in, relaxing, and being in this space. Come from Manhattan to here just to vibe.
The Cafe at Artshack has been under new ownership since August 2025. As the founder and director of Artshack, I am grateful to have the Cafe at Artshack as part of our community. While new ownership understandably necessitated that some policies change, I believe the cafe can continue to thrive and nourish our community. Google makes it nearly impossible to close an existing account without confusion - the new cafe has been a separate business on google since it opened. We are open to feedback
Perfect neighborhood spot. Service is friendly and the menu is great (don't sleep on the curried chicken salad sandwich!). It also supports the attached non-profit ceramics studio that has provided classes for kids and adults for years. A true community hub!

The handwashing sink was missing, blocked, or without soap, hot water, or towels.
Food surfaces weren't washed and sanitized between uses.
Staff blocked or interfered with the health inspector.
Clean utensils were stored where they could get dirty again.
