Lovely little spot! M/WBE, good cocktails (will say the savory briney play on a martini was a bit too savory for my liking), and a really wonderful (as far as I could see) all woman staff too. Like, this place has lovely seating, indoors, outdoors, etc. What makes it great is just how welcoming it feels.
Love this spot. Delicious cocktails, plus a few great beers on tap. It also helped me discover doppelbock beer with the Schneider Aventinus, which is a small revelation for me. There is also snack food and wine, but I haven’t tried those much yet. The atmosphere is comfy, welcoming, and very pleasant. I also enjoy the interior design. Beautiful space!
It took me far too long to visit this gem, a true jazz sanctuary just a mile from my front door. The bar has already hosted many of my favorites, and last night Josh Dunn, a musician I've long admired at my favorite Manhattan jazz venues, delivered an intimate, gorgeous two-hour set in a charming space in an area previously lacking spaces for live jazz.
