Had a great experience at The District. Dara was wonderful... from greeting us as the host to serving our table, she was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. The restaurant was clean and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating available, plus TVs for anyone looking to catch a game. The food was excellent. The steak and cheese was cooked perfectly, and swapping the sweet potato fries for regular fries was no problem at all. The crispy chicken sandwich was also delic
Brought friends from out of town here based on past experiences. We’ve eaten here multiple times and typically the service is good and the food is great. That was not the experience today. 4 out of the 4 entrees were wrong including the Cuban and a side salad (pic below) that took literally 45 minutes to get to the table. Very disappointing experience.
I came here because someone recommended their fish and chips to me. They also said they have great drinks. I ordered a juniper breeze to start with. The drink was okay. Nothing bad about, but nothing great about it, either. I also ordered a French onion soup. I knew I shouldn’t have, but I was famished. The soup was not hot enough. The cheese on the top did melt, but the soup was just warm. It was nice that it came with 3 slices of baguette, however, they were dry and tasted like ages old free
