Incredible spot - stopped in for lunch. Got the grilled pork banh mi (10$) and a Diet Coke (2$). It was really fast, fantastically delicious, with some of the best bread I’ve ever had on a banh mi, and the staff was very warm and friendly. Can’t recommend enough if you’re in the area.
As I walked in an employee was running and ran into me. It would have been okay but she did not even apologize or even acknowledge me. Instead I said sorry which I’m not sure why because I was paying attention as she was running to fulfill orders. As an athlete I am lucky to be ready for impact, but I know if it had been any regular person they would have fallen to the ground and may have been hurt. As I sat I observed the servers running back and forth. The sense of urgency here shows that
clean environment. Food comes out relatively quick. The good part ends there. I ordered a beef pho for myself and a catfish bahmi for my little eating partner. The pho soup base has little flavor other than saltienss. It improved slightly with the addition of fish sauce that did not come with the food. Beef slices were tough to chew. The catfish taco is missing the cucumber listed on the menu as ingredients, and the spicy mayo tries to cover up the lack of flavor in the fish and the soggy
