Outside of a chance encounter in Japan a few years back, I haven't seen my high school classmate @toneyloo in probably over 30 years! I told myself that if I ever got out to New York, a visit with Tony is a must, where he owns and operates his own award winning neighborhood restaurant in Jackson Heights called @thequeensboro. My boyfriend and I came here for a Valentine's Day party. Tulip and Rose cocktails hosted the event here. The drinks were affordable and tasty. One of the cocktails changed colors when you added lemon juice (I added a video). There were plenty of seats to pick from. You can sit at the bar, sit at a table, or sit at a booth. There is plenty of sunlight coming in the windows. The kitchen is cook-to-order and everything is fresh/hot. I definitely will come back and I highly recommend this establish
Food was okay overall. We had the avocado toast with poached eggs , and two eggs with potatoes. It tasted like standard diner-style food. Coffee options were limited to regular coffee only. Service was fine.
