Local Jamaican restaurant for oxtails, curry goat and jerk chicken.
From Google Maps reviews.
I usually only get Jamaican food in Flatbush when I visit. But living in the BX this was refreshing. The food was amazing and the price was not too bad. $10 bucks can get you full and 25 can feed a small family. That being said no prices were posted So you literally have to bother the one guy for any inquiry . But the gentleman is very friendly. Dining room small but clean. I’m gonna be coming here a lot. My picture does the food no justice it was delicious. (I got a small jerk chicken with rice
My family in North Carolina raved about the food here, especially the jerk chicken. So I I got a medium meal. The entree comes with your choice of meat, rice, vegetable and some plantains. Well, they had no plantains which was a huge disappointment. My meal consisted of jerk chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. My loved ones never get the cabbage and I know why. It was bland. The jerk chicken wasn't bad but it was not rave worthy in my opinion. The rice and peas was awesome. I requested oxtail
Just found this hidden gem and I’m glad I did. I’ve tried almost every Jamaican restaurant in the area and this does it for me. The quality & taste of their dishes and overall customer service is incomparable to say the least. Would recommend the oxtails, baked mac & cheese, and jerk chicken. Shoutout to the owners for their hospitality and patience - a new relationship was formed in the process. P.S - if you see the Nigerian currency on the glass window, tell them I sent you!
