Such a local gem. A must visit in Washington heights. Came here with my partner and his mom and it’s the perfect place for dates, or small groups. We love the attention to detail with every dish. Chef Abraham is so humble and definitely knows his cuisine. Every dish delivered- the mushroom tapas with the crab was one of my favorites alongside the seafood paella marinera. The red sangria is also a must and not so sweet. We also got 3 desserts, and the churros con chocolate was chef’s kiss. Will
We went to Tinto after a day at the Met Cloisters, and this whole meal was a work of art. I studied abroad in Barcelona back in college, and these tapas were an authentic food memory for me, especially the croquetas, paella, and churros. We met chef Abraham, and it was great to see what an intentional neighborhood restaurant he’s cultivated. No need to go downtown for an incredible dining experience! Amazing tapas and drinks (don’t sleep on the Paloma) in a cozy, welcoming space. The brunch on the weekend is also incredible; huevos rancheros were very fresh and authentic, and the duck Reuben sandwich hit the spot. Service was also great— you won’t feel rushed to get out the door. Truly Washington Heights’ best kept secret— always a good idea to book reservations in advance because seating is limited. Can’t wait to go back!
