This is definitely an Irish pub and a NY Rangers hangout being across from MSG. I liked the atmosphere as we were there on an off night. The service was great. I like that we had a bottle of water at our table. My daughter was relieved that her Guinness was poured correctly (even in an Irish bar, the little Irish tempest will reach over and pour it herself to make sure it is correct). This place has been around a long time, I used to go to the original location on 33rd Street. It's generally reliable. However, DO NOT GO during a sporting event unless you are 17 and need to sneak into a bar. Just watched the Knicks game there. It was packed with rude underage kids, drinking and smoking.
